Prayer Request

Dear Family, we are asking for your prayers on behalf of Cousin Lisa Broadous Smith, as well as her daughters, parents, and brothers. Lisa, who has had health challenges with a brain tumor for some time now, is in hospice care at her home in Portland, Oregon. Desiring to be in the company of family and friends, Lisa is being showered with love, laughter, and the sharing of special moments. Lisa is the daughter of Cousin James Broadous Sr. (wife, Cousin Opal) and Cousin Barbara Broadous. She is the Granddaughter of Uncle Leon and Aunt Ora Lee. And, the Great Granddaughter of Grandpa Zach and Grandma Mattie.

Thank you all, Cousin Deborah A. Broadous, Nat’l. President

Policy: Central Contact Person

Policy: Coordinated Approach to Notify Family of Illnesses and Passings/Homegoings

(James 2:16, 5:14-16; John 14:1-3,27) by Pastors & Ministers Fellowship.

On June 20, 2020, the Broadous Family Board of Directors (BOD) approved and adopted a coordinated approach to notify the Broadous Family masses of family members’ Illnesses and Passings.

Once a family officer is notified, the officer will contact Pastor George Merriweather, Pastors & Ministers Fellowship, who will reach out to the respective family or families, assess the situation, find out the need, obtain permission/consent of what information (support) can be posted on the Broadous Family Website and BOD Chairman, National President and Web Team can disseminate.

The Pastors & Ministers Fellowship will keep written documentation of all activities and contacts so that a record is preserved for and of the Rev. Zachrah, Sr. and Mattie Thomas Broadous Family history.
